ALPhA @ Davidson College
Welcome to the Algorithms for Learning in Physics Applications (ALPhA) research group at Davidson College! We develop deep learning models for nuclear physics and particle physics applications. We collaborate with scientists at the Facility for Rare Isotope Beams, CERN, and more.
What We are Working on Now
AI for Detector Data
Addressing or modeling detector effects in experimental data
ML for TPCs
Developeing Foundation Models to enable or assist with ML-supported data extraction or analysis in Time Projection Chmabers.
